Our stay at the Rasta Hostel with my big ol' family was an unforgettable experience. Costha and Shanika treated us like royalty, making sure we explored every nook and cranny of Sigiriya. From the cozy communal areas to the delectable home-cooked meals, the family vibe was heartwarming.

My wife says that a kids' play area would have been a nice addition.

the owner, Kostha, went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. He took me around Sigiriya on his scooter, cooked delicious breakfasts every morning, and created a welcoming and social atmosphere at the hostel. the garden area with hammocks was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. the staff were friendly and always ready to help out, whether it was with tour recommendations or just a friendly chat.

While the hostel had many positive aspects, there were a couple of things that could be improved. One area for enhancement would be to ensure better cleanliness in the rooms and bathrooms.
